Erith-based RK International Machine Tools Ltd (www.rk-int.com) has appointed Sandy Berry as regional sales manager for the Midlands.

Mr Berry started his career in engineering as a tool maker; he later moved into the machine tool sector (initially as a service engineer), before embarking on his long career in sales, with the past 10 years spent selling a broad range of grinding technology.

It is this experience that he brings to RK International Machine Tools.

He said: “I have known RK International as a competitor for many years, so I appreciate the strength of their product portfolio. This is a great opportunity for me to make use of the contacts and experience that I have accumulated over the years.”
