Wednesbury-based Midland Machinery (Heavy Lift) Ltd, a family-run company that has built its success on offering a heavy lifting service throughout the UK and Ireland, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The company’s fleet consists of specialised heavy-goods vehicles with low loaders, semi-low-loaders, trailers
with loading ramps, lorry-mounted cranes, Versalifts and fork-lift trucks, fully equipped site vehicles, cherry pickers and scissor lifts; it also has its own escort vehicles for abnormal loads.
Over the years, Midland Machinery (
www.midlandmachinery.co.uk) has invested in a fleet of modern heavy-lift equipment; its latest acquisitions are a Scania tractor unit with a capacity of 78 tonnes and a 25/35 Versa lift with a lifting capability of 16 tonnes.
Due to be delivered in early 2019 is a new Faymonbillt low loader; this will allow large amounts of machinery and equipment to be moved in a shorter time-frame than is currently possible.
As well as specialising in heavy lifting and abnormal loads, Midland Machinery transports and installs new machinery for manufacturers; the company also carries out internal machinery relocations for a variety of industries, assisting customers requiring production changes.
