Earlier this month, ‘Jaguar’s women’ celebrated International Women’s Day by showcasing automotive-industry careers in a short video. Called , this features some of the female employees who design, manufacture, test and sell the company’s cars — plus customer Jess Monks, who bought a Jaguar F-Pace SUV.

Fiona Pargeter, Jaguar Land Rover’s customer experience director (www.media.jaguarlandrover.com), said: “We put our customers first throughout the design and development of our products. Therefore diversity in our workforce is key.

“We have trebled the number of women in management roles and we out-perform the national average threefold in the recruitment of female engineering apprentices.

“Our film showcases that more and more females are enjoying rewarding careers in automotive. We hope it will inspire the next generation of talented women too.”
