Kerf Development Ltd, Rochdale (
www.kerfdevelopments.com), got off to a flying start on the first day of the show, selling an RUR2000 high-definition plasma cutting table that was on its stand to a Birmingham company; it later sold a larger RUR2500 to an Irish steel-fabricating company. These two MACH sales add to an impressive start to 2014, with sales levels currently 50% higher than for the same period of 2013. The RUR2500 has a 6 x 2m bed, while the RUR2000 on show featured the Kaliburn Spirit II Fineline high-definition plasma, which can cut faster than a laser on thick materials
