The Engineering Technology Group (ETG) (www.engtechgroup.com) has appointed Robin Mitchell as operations director (pictured), a new role designed to create a seamless process from machine order through to delivery.

His specific responsibilities include logistics, pre-delivery inspection and applications engineering; he will also be a member of the operational board of directors.

Mr Mitchell worked at Land Rover for 19 years; he began working as a consultant for ETG earlier this year.

After identifying opportunities for business improvement, he has now been tasked to turn them into reality.
