Skoda (

Michael Oeljeklaus, Skoda board member for production and logistics, said: “We are using the production down-time efficiently in order to optimise and adjust our manufacturing facilities.”
He added that the Kvasiny plant is set to experience an increase in its output capacity to 280,000 a year, for which new equipment will be put in place at the paint shop, while both the production and assembly lines will be “optimised”.
Skoda is also planning to increase DQ-200 gearbox production at the Vrchlabí site, with output capacity set to increase from 1,500 to 2,000 gearboxes a day by next year.
