Almor (
www.almor.co.uk) — a group of specialist alloy fabricators and furnace engineers focused on supporting the needs of heat-treaters and other process sectors where high-temperature or corrosive environments are encountered — has acquired Oldbury-based Wellman Furnaces from Robey Wellman Boilers & Furnaces Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
Wellman will continue to trade from its existing West Midlands base, while a phased transition to the Almor site at Tipton is planned.
