Plymouth-based Artemis Optical (
www.artemis-optical.co.uk), which makes high-precision thin-film coatings for the defence, civil aerospace and medical analytics sectors, has established a presence in the USA though a new partnership with the New York-based optics company Meopta.
Nick Hurst, chairman of Artemis Optical, said: “This alliance creates a partnership capable of providing advanced solutions to the fast-growing and technically challenging optics market-place.”
Artemis operates from a 22,000sq ft facility in Plymouth and employs 30 people.
