Nottingham-based electronics manufacturer Kitronik (
www.kitronik.co.uk) has made several recent appointments after its turnover reached £1 million. The company supplies equipment to 3,000 schools across the UK; it is also a partner of the BBC Micro Bit project, working with companies such as Samsung and Microsoft.
After demand for its products soared, the company appointed Tim Goodman as its business development manager alongside digital-content manager Mark Donnison and Harjeet Johal, who has joined as procurement manager. Kin Chan and Kirk Raynor have been taken on as production assistants and University of Nottingham graduate Cullen Lewis has been appointed as admin assistant.
Kitronik co-founder and director Kevin Spurr said: “We have seen increased demand for our products over recent months, as more people become interested in coding, electronics and making their own technology. This has required us to recruit new team members, and I am delighted to welcome all new members of staff to Kitronik. I look forward to working with them and further developing our business.”
