Path XL acquired by Philips

Belfast-based PathXL (www.pathxl.com), a leader in digital pathology image analysis, has been acquired by the Dutch-owned multi-national Philips (www.philips.com). This deal sees the Queen’s University spin-out firm become part of Philips’ digital pathology solutions division.
