Two Midlands heating and ventilation businesses — Jet Environmental (
www.jetenvironmental.com) and Jet AHU (
www.jetahu.co.uk), based in Marston Green, near Solihull — have been acquired by Kent-based air-conditioning company Wozair (
www.wozair.com) for an undisclosed sum.
With a turnover of around £39 million, the latter has operations world-wide, including in Singapore, the USA and Australia. Jet Environmental Systems provides temperature-control solutions for industrial and commercial buildings, while its sister company Jet AHU supplies and installs air-handling units.
Jason Hibbs, managing director of Jet Environmental, said: “The purchase is a major milestone in the development of the Jet businesses, ensuring a solid platform for geographic expansion and product development.”
Mr Hibbs confirmed that he and Jet Environmental’s senior management team will remain in place.
