Renold Gears appoints service partnerYorkshire-based Wolds Engineering Services has been appointed a service and refurbishment partner of Renold Gears (www.renold.com).

With branches in Scarborough and Pocklington, the company has an excellent reputation for customer service; it will now be able to provide manufacturer-quality gearbox servicing for all its customers in Yorkshire and Humberside.

As part of Renold’s authorised UK network of partners, it will be able to offer: gearbox collection, strip and inspection with reports to customers before beginning the refurbishment; a drop-in replacement service; and a rolling service exchange programme.

Gearboxes refurbished by Renold and Wolds Engineering Services are rebuilt to ‘as new’ condition, fully tested and given a 12-month warranty. Installation support and on-site training are available.

John Oxley, managing director of Wolds Engineering Services, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer all our customers the very highest standards of gearbox refurbishment and servicing as a result of our partnership with Renold Gears.

“We are now able to provide an excellent range of services, with the latest top-quality engineering solutions designed to deliver a rapid response and minimise down-time.”
