Starrett opens bandsaw demonstration zoneStarrett (www.starrett.co.uk) is to open a new demonstration zone in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, that will house its range of bandsaw machines and blades.

Based at the premises of long-established engineering distributor Tewkesbury Saw Ltd on the Newton Trading Estate, the demonstration zone will be open six days a week from 23 November.

Starrett, which has its UK HQ in Jedburgh, Scotland, currently supplies its products to over 50 countries. The new demonstration zone in Tewkesbury will offer contractors in the South of England and the Midlands the opportunity to see its bandsaws in action; the range includes bench-top, gravitational, manual and semi-automatic machines.

John Cove, marketing manager at Starrett, said: “Tewkesbury Saws has been a Starrett customer for many years. The new showroom will give potential customers easy access to our machines. We have a long history of excellence in the bandsaw sector, and this isn’t just a result of strong design and manufacturing.

“We work closely with our customers to help them find the best machine for their needs, and opening this new showroom will help us expand our capabilities in this regard.

“The showroom will be staffed by experts trained by our team of specialists, so they will be able to answer any questions that customers may have regarding our machines.”
