REnescience Northwich to open next April

DONG Energy has announced that it will open its new waste treatment facility in Cheshire next April.
The Danish group says that REnescience Northwich will separate household waste from recyclable materials and generate energy at the same time.
Currently under construction, the facility will provide a range of job opportunities, including shift operators and mechanical technicians at various grades.
Training will be provided for many of the roles. A spokesman said this will be the first full-scale bio-plant in the world that can dispose of household waste through enzymes, mechanical sorting and anaerobic digestion.
