Tooling and applications focus On display from Sheffield-based Ceratizit WNT Ltd ( will be an example of every new product introduced to the company’s range since the launch of its last catalogue (Hall 19 Stand 500).

Included will be the sliding-head tooling range revealed towards the end of 2017, which consists of over 11,000 items, some 5,000 being brand new.

Another new addition to the range is the series of 3D Finish circular-segment solid-carbide milling cutters.

Since their launch in September 2017, these cutters have generated significant interest among users of five-axis machining centres; the company says that cycle time savings up to 90% can be achieved without the workpiece, tool and machine being subjected to higher loads.

These gains are attributable to the large effective radius on the cutters — as big as 1,500mm — meaning that much greater widths of cut are possible.

There will also be a strong focus on key application areas such as aerospace, automotive, energy, heavy engineering and rail, as well as hard machining using PCD and CBN.

The stand will feature specific areas where products will be matched with components to highlight the areas that provide a distinct advantage when machining.

In addition to cutting tools, there will be a new Hope HB160 mountain bike, which will be used as a showcase for tooling that was used to manufacture not only components but also the complex mould tool that created the carbon frame.

A WNT Rotor Pro Cycling road bike will also be on display.

Tool storage and vending will be highlighted by the TOM 840 vending system, which can hold up to 840 different products — or be configured to meet specific customer requirements.

It is equipped with a touch-screen control and software that allows the identification of individual users and other useful tracking data.

Visitors will also be able to take advantage of the ‘MACH deal’; for every £100 of tooling ordered on the stand, customers will receive an additional £100 of free tools, along with a branded Zeus handbook (while stocks last).

Finally, there will be a raffle, with donations going to the company’s selected charities: the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research.

The prize will be VIP tickets to the Brands Hatch round of the British Superbike Championship.

Be seen in all the right places!
