Bolton-based Handrail Creations (www.handrailcreations.co.uk), which manufactures bespoke handrails, is celebrating its fourth anniversary — and the completion of a £500,000 investment in new machinery and equipment.

The latest piece of equipment to be installed is a ‘state of the art’ machine that will improve accuracy and speed up delivery times.

Managing director Kenny Macfarlane said: “This latest CNC machine has been designed and commissioned by our engineering team. It will allow us to increase capacity and reduce our lead teams by 25%.”

Handrail Creations has worked on a number of high-profile projects, including Google’s headquarters in London, the Houses of Parliament and scores of luxury homes.

The company covers every aspect of each project, from surveys and design through to installation and after-care.
