North Yorkshire-based Malton Laser (
www.maltonlaser.com), a sheet metalwork specialist, has used its cutting expertise to manufacture components for adjustable and re-usable access ramps and steps for Skipton firm Access Solutions Ltd.
The two companies have worked together since 2003, and the latest project required Malton Laser to produce parts for a series of adjustable steps used by a number of portable-building companies nation-wide.
The company cut a series of stainless-steel parts that make up the stringers on the modular adaptable steps, which are then pressed into shape to guarantee that the step systems will move smoothly to cater for various access needs, while maintaining the strength and structure of a permanent fixture.
Charles Corner, managing director of Malton Laser, said: “To have worked with Access Solutions for more than 14 years is a testament to our customer service and value for money, as well as the industry-leading services we offer thanks to our innovative machinery and equipment used in all projects.
"Our engineers work very hard to ensure that each component produced for the customer’s modular access systems is manufactured to a stringent specification, guaranteeing ease-of-use for the end user.”
Access Solutions director Helen Owen said: “Malton Laser is an exceptional company to work with, offering unrivalled levels of customer service and producing quality work time after time.”
Access can provide a wide range of permanent and temporary access options.
