Dundee-based ATL Turbine Services, which repairs aero-engines and industrial-turbine components, has used more than £450,000 of funding from HSBC to upgrade its machinery, and this has resulted in new contract wins, both in the UK and world-wide (www.atlturbineservices.co.uk).

These new contracts have contributed to a 322% in-crease in the company’s exports since 2016, with 25% of its turnover now coming from overseas.

Strong demand for its services has also allowed it to boost its staffing levels from 58 to 72 in the past year, and further job creation is expected over the next 12 months.
