Hove-based CGTech Ltd (
www.cgtech.co.uk) — the developer of Vericut CNC simulation, verification and optimisation software — recently announced that it has set up an office in Moscow to take responsibility for marketing, sales, technical support and reseller support throughout Russia.
CGTech’s managing director, Tony Shrewsbury, said: “There is a growing demand for the simulation of complex machine tools, and CGTech is well positioned to provide manufacturers with the skills and technologies they need to be successful.”
The Moscow subsidiary will initially appoint one sales engineer and one technical support engineer, with additional technical support being provided by the UK team.
Mr Shrewsbury said: “This office is a real benefit for our existing Russian customers.
“It strengthens our position as the world-wide leader in NC simulation, verification, and optimisation technologies.”
CGTech also recently announced plans to expand and restructure its UK operation with the appointment of two new sales engineers, to be followed by further appointments to the technical support team.
