Horiba MIRA agrees co-operation with CH-AutoNuneaton-based Horiba MIRA — a world leader in advanced vehicle engineering, research, development and testing — has announced a strategic co-operation agreement with CH-Auto, a Chinese company that is known for its battery-powered electric sports car — Qian Tu.

Horiba MIRA (www.horiba-mira.com) will play a key role in the development and testing of CH-Auto’s new vehicles and future products, as it looks to capitalise on the growing market for electric vehicles.

With a suite of 39 major test facilities, 100km of specialised proving ground and over 70 years of engineering experience, Horiba MIRA combines a wealth of vehicle development resources in one location.

The recent launch of the Advanced Battery Development Suite further cements the business as a leader in battery engineering and testing.

Declan Allen, Horiba MIRA’s managing director, said: “The global electric-vehicle market is booming, and China is the largest market of all.

"With our expertise and facilities in both the UK and China, we are in a great position to work alongside automotive manufacturers to bring their new products to market.”
