Addnode Group — based in Stockholm and a leading European provider of software and services for design and engineering activities — has acquired Cadassist Ltd (www.cadassist.co.uk) and d2m3 Ltd, which have combined net sales of almost £9.4 million.

The acquisition of Cadassist is in line with Addnode Group’s aim to be an international market-leading software and services provider.

Cadassist is a partner to Autodesk and a UK leading provider of software, training and consultancy services mainly to the engineering, architecture and construction industries; the company also delivers PLM (product life-cycle management) services to manufacturing industry.

It has 23 employees and is based in Manchester. The data management software integrator d2m3 has offices in London and Stockport.
