Positive results for EuroBLECH 2018

Positive results for EuroBLECH 2018 EuroBLECH 2018 (www.euroblech.com) — the 25th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition — saw a total of 56,301 visitors go to Hanover last month to get an overview of the latest innovations and digital technologies for sheet metal-working and to invest in new manufacturing machinery.

Furthermore, 1,507 compares from 40 countries exhibited at this year’s show.

Exhibition director Evelyn Warwick (of organisers Mack Brooks Exhibitions) said: “There was a great atmosphere at the show, with an excellent mood on the exhibitor side as well as the visitor side.

“Many exhibitors had particularly impressive stands; they also showcased an enormous variety of new machinery and innovative solutions.

“Moreover, many of them demonstrated how well the industry is prepared for digitalisation and how these new technologies can be used in a manufacturing environment.”

Some 58% of the exhibitors came from outside Germany (a 4% increase on last time, while the preliminary results of the exhibition survey show that 37% of the visitors came from outside Germany.

More than 70% of the exhibitors at the 2018 show said that they intend to exhibit at the next EuroBLECH, which will take place 27-30 October 2020 at the same venue.

Mack Brooks Exhibitions is organising a range of sheet metal-working exhibitions in different markets: the next BLECH India will take place 25-27 April 2019 in Mumbai; AsiaBLECH 2019 will be held in Chengdu City, China, 20-22 November 2019; and the first BLECH FranceM/i> will take place 21-23 January 2020 in Paris.
