McGreevy targets aerospace sector Belfast-based McGreevy Engineering is set to end 2018 on a high, following a recent investment of £175,000.

This second-generation family business, which has gone from strength to strength since being founded in 1980, specialises in precision-machined components, five-axis milling and multi-axis turn-milling.

The latest investment has enabled it to further diversify its capabilities and allow it to serve the aerospace manufacturing market.

Managing director Aaron McGreevy (www.mcgreevyengineering.co.uk) said: “It’s an exciting time for the company. The engineering sector in Northern Ireland is one of the best in the world; and although competition is rife, this investment will position McGreevy Engineering among the finest that Northern Ireland has to offer.

“We have had our sights set on the aerospace industry for a long time and after continual training and development,
I can safely say that we have the skills-set to serve the industry with the highest level of quality.

“In 2018, we attended both the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg and the International Airshow in Farnborough, and I was delighted with the interest shown.

“This investment will take the company to the next level of engineering solutions, and I look forward to seeing how we further develop as the company grows.”

Mr McGreevy and his team also attended the Aircraft Interior Group meeting, held in Toulouse 20-23 November,
and Aeromart Toulouse (4-6 December).

“This is only the beginning of McGreevy Engineering’s journey in the aerospace sector, and we aim to continually offer the most advanced services in engineering.”
