Airbus Helicopters and Hungary are to co-operate on long-term aviation projects — initially focusing on the production of high-precision mechanical parts for helicopter dynamic systems.

This is part of the Zrinyi 202 armed-forces development programme supporting Hungary’s national security goals of developing independent defence capabilities.

This project has been made possible thanks to Hungary’s industrial expertise and commitment to innovation, which will now thrive in Airbus’s global supply chain.”

The agreement covers the creation of a green-field production unit that will start by manufacturing mechanical parts for various Airbus helicopters and will rely on a local supply chain.
