www.romiuk.com) appoint two new regional sales managers.
The company has an extensive range of turning centres and machining centres in its portfolio, as well as a significant presence in the injection moulding market.
With a planned growth strategy and new products in the pipeline, Romi has appointed the following regional sales managers: John Hawkins is responsible for the Midlands, the North and Scotland; David Balfour now covers Wales, the South and Ireland.
Mr Hawkins has been in industry for over 25 years, starting his career as an apprentice and subsequently working his way up to the positions of production engineer and service engineer with leading companies.
For the past 10 years, he has worked as a regional and technical sales manager with well-known cutting-tool and machine tool brands.
Mr Balfour has been in engineering for almost 40 years ago, during which time he has worked as an applications and sales engineer in the cutting-tool and machine tool industry.
