Open Mind Technologies AG, which has a UK subsidiary in Bicester (
www.openmind-tech.com), is celebrating its 25th anniversary year.
The company says that it has influenced the development of modern five-axis simultaneous machining in tool and mould manufacturing with its HyperMill CAD/CAM suite.
Open Mind now has its own sales and service subsidiaries in 15 countries, and it had 305 employees at the end of 2018. By the end of its anniversary year, that number will have grown to over 330, along with the opening of new subsidiaries.
Josef Koch, CTO and one of the founders of Open Mind, said: “We began with just 20 employees, but our love for technology and our innovative spirit are something that has not changed throughout the years.
