New technical centre for QuickgrindFollowing detailed planning and construction work, cutting-tool manufacturer Quickgrind will open a ‘Technical Centre of Infinite Possibilities’ at its Tewkesbury headquarters this summer.

This will provide a good environment for customer training, demonstrations, technical seminars, and other events.

Located within the company’s cutting-tool manufacturing plant, it will incorporate both three- and five-axis machining centres, as well as being a hub for ‘innovation partners’ such as Open Mind, CG Tech, Tebis, Schunk, Romi Machines UK, Blaser, Biltz, Romheld and Quickvend.

The company (www.quickgrind.com) said: “The new facility incorporates a shopfloor demonstration area, a seminar theatre that can accommodate over 30 people, individual meeting rooms and workstations for CAM strategies and programming.

This allows end users to bring their components and part programs to the new facility, where Quickgrind experts will provide optimised programming and discuss cutting-tool performance.”
