Bromsgrove-based TLM Laser Ltd (
www.tlm-laser.com) is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of laser processing technology for welding, marking, engraving, cutting and metal additive manufacturing.
The first quarter of 2019 saw unprecedented order levels from a number of industries; as a result, the company has re-vamped its showroom and demonstration facility with a wide variety of laser technologies, and it can run trials on customer components to demonstrate the capabilities of each system.
The showroom includes a Foba Laser M-series marking system, a Universal Laser Systems PLS 4.75 flat-bed CO
2 laser processing system — capable of laser marking and cutting a variety of materials — and an Alpha Laser Welding machine that is focused primarily on metal welding and hardening applications.
The company has plans to increase the diversity of models from the Alpha range in the near future.
TLM Laser director Andy Toms said: “The first quarter of 2019 delivered great results for TLM.
“The fact that we have such a diverse portfolio of laser processing technologies means that we can offer the optimum solution to the applications presented to us by our customers.”
The range of systems available from TLM Laser continues to expand; under a recent partnership agreement with German laser specialist 4Jet, TLM has launched a new range of hand-held laser cleaning systems in the UK.
The Jetlaser product line can be used for cleaning moulds, tools and fixtures, for removing paint and coatings, and for pre-treating surfaces before welding, glueing or coating.
