Derby-based Gardner Aerospace, one of Europe’s largest suppliers of aerospace detailed parts and sub-assemblies, has appointed Dominic Cartwright as its new CEO.
He joined Gardner Aerospace in July 2018; in his new role, he aims to treble the size of the business through operational excellence, international expansion and the development of new technologies.
Mr Cartwright said: “I’m incredibly proud to have been appointed as Gardner Aerospace’s CEO and am relishing the opportunity to oversee the next phase of the company’s development.
“With the support of our parent company — Ligeance Aerospace Technologies — we are continuing our international expansion, and the years ahead promise to be significant.”
Gardner Aerospace is committed to becoming a global top five manufacturer of aerospace detailed parts by 2023, with a dedication to offering customers a much broader range of products and services, while increasing its capacity to make parts of various complexities and sizes in best-cost locations.
Mr Cartwright said: “Now we have exceeded annual revenue levels of $300 million, our goal is to become one of the top 75 aerospace companies by 2023, through acquisition and organic growth.
“This is a challenge that the entire global workforce is committed to; it is going to be very exciting to both develop existing customer relationships and harness new ones over the coming years.”
