Doosan Infracore wins French contractDoosan Infracore recently won a contract to supply 80 excavators to the French company Beauloc.

These will comprise five-, eight- and 30-tonne machines that will be used across France at a variety of road-building and other construction sites.

The shipment of the equipment started in August and will end in December.

Beauloc, an equipment-leasing company with more than 300 construction machines, bought more than 200 Doosan Infracore excavators between 2016 and 2017.

Doosan Infracore Europe’s managing director (www.doosaninfracore.com), Hyunchul Park, said: “France is one of the three largest construction equipment markets in Europe, along with Germany and the UK.

"The success in winning a large contract there will serve as a platform for securing major customers in other parts of the European market as well.

"We plan to step up our customised promotional campaigns for regions and products, while stabilising our new sales networks in France, the Czech Republic and Italy in a bid to continue to increase our sales on the continent.”

In the first half of 2019, Doosan Infracore sold construction equipment worth almost 329.5 million euros (a year-on-year increase of 11%) in ‘advanced markets, including Europe and North America’.

This figure accounts for 23.7% of the company’s total world-wide sales.
