Leicestershire-based Matsuura Machinery Ltd, which supplies high-precision three- to five-axis vertical and horizontal machining centres to all industry sectors, has appointed Michelle Storor to the role of service engineer (
www.matsuura.co.uk).
Before joining Matsuura, she was an aircraft engineer for the German Army for five years, working on a range of military helicopters before moving back to the UK in 2017 to work as an engineer at a sheet metal company.
Ms Storor said: “Although I only joined the Matsuura team very recently, I’m constantly developing and broadening my skills, supported by an extremely knowledgeable team.
"Matsuura has a great reputation for quality, reliability and accuracy, and these are just some of the reasons why the role appealed to me. I look forward to meeting our customers.”
Reporting to assistant service manager Leigh Caddy, Ms Storor will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of Matsuura, Niigata, Murata and Toshulin CNC machine tools throughout the UK.
