The Corsham-based tool-holding specialist Gewefa UK has been supporting a number of leading machine tool manufacturers during the busy autumn season of Open Houses — and there are two more events before the end of the year.
In close collaboration with its driven-tool partner EWS, the company will have a strong presence at the Romi Machines
UK Ltd
Blue Circle event, being held in Rugby (13-14 November).
It is planned that EWS driven tools will feature on a Romi CNC lathe; visitors will also be able to view and discuss the newly introduced EWS ‘intelligent tool-monitoring’ technique called CyberCon4, which monitors a range of processes within the tool to optimise its performance.
In December, Gewefa (
www.gewefa.co.uk) will have a significant presence at the two-day Open House being held in Hurco’s new demonstration and showroom facility in High Wycombe (3-4 December).
Gewefa will be exhibiting in the Suppliers Village, where it will be highlighting — among other items — face-and-taper tool-holding products.
The company says that its range of tool-holders in this format has been increased by over 50%, following the introduction of many new extended-length tools.
As well as EWS, Gewefa supplies related tool-holding products such as OTT spindle-monitoring equipment, Pibomulti angle heads and speeders, Nann collets and Rineck heat-shrink clamping machines.
