Strong growth at Tamworth-based Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC — www.itc-ltd.co .uk), a leading UK cutting-tool manufacturer, has resulted in the appointment of Chris Fairbrother as a technical sales engineer to bolster the support provided to companies in the North West of England.

He has 25 years of experience in the industry, starting out as an apprentice, then a CNC machinist before progressing to manufacturing engineer posts with a number of OEMs.

He was subsequently a tooling design engineer, before becoming
a technical sales engineer in the cutting-tool industry.

Mr Fairbrother said: “When I came to ITC for an interview and a factory tour, I was a little taken aback by the amazing rapport that managing director Peter Hague has with all his staff — that really struck a chord with me.

"As an engineer, my core philosophy is all about servicing the customers and making sure they are happy.

"ITC has built a very successful business on customer service and exceptional product quality, and I am ‘made up’ to be joining the team.”
