Q3 2019 revenue growth for Groupe PSA

Q3 2019 revenue growth for Groupe PSAGroupe PSA (www.groupe-psa.com) revenue amounted to 15,579 million euros in Q3 2019 (compared to 15,428 million euros in Q3 2018), with revenues from the Automotive Division amounting to 11,824 million euros — up by 0.1% compared to Q3 2018.

A “strong product mix and positive price conditions” are said to have more than offset the decrease of sales to group partners (-3.2%), the negative impact of exchange rates (-0.8%) and hyperinflation in Argentina.

Groupe PSA said that its strong product mix stems from the success of its latest launches — in particular the Citroën C5 Aircross SUV, Peugeot 508, DS 3 Crossback, Vauxhall Combo and Opel Combo.

The Group sold 674,000 cars world-wide in Q3 2019. Its ‘total inventory’ — including independent dealers and importers — stood at 574,000 vehicles at the end of September 2019, down 29,000 units compared to end of September 2018.

For 2019, the Group anticipates a decrease of 1% in the European automotive market, along with falls of 5% in Latin
America, 7% in China and 2% in Russia.

Groupe PSA has five car brands — Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall — and offers “a wide array of mobility and smart services” under the Free2Move brand.

It is also involved in financing activities (through Banque PSA Finance) and in automotive equipment (via Faurecia).
