Warwickshire-based Walter Ewag UK (
www.walter-machines.com) — a member of the United Grinding Group — has recruited Gareth Harper as a service engineer.
He brings a vast amount of CNC machine and engineering experience to the role, having started out as an apprentice tool-maker.
That led to a career in tool-making, before he became a setter-operator on CNC grinding machines producing carbide indexable inserts, then a programmer of five-/six-axis tool grinders.
His engineering career has also included spells as a tool pre-setter and a tooling engineer, as well as a machine maintenance engineer.
Walter Ewag UK’s service team helps look after a host of customers and machines throughout the UK and Ireland.
