Coalville-based Matsuura Machinery Ltd has appointed Stephen Orton as a spindle technical support engineer and Simon Parkinson as a spindle technician (
www.matsuura.co.uk).
Before joining Matsuura, Mr Orton worked as a time-served machine tool fitter and team leader; in his new role, he will be responsible for supporting and assisting both the spindle team and customers with their spindle and tooling requirements.
Mr Parkinson’s engineering career includes eight years as a machine operator for a carbide and abrasive manufacturer, and two years in mechanical engineering for a pneumatic service and repair centre.
David Spencer, spindle facility manager at Matsuura, said: “Stephen and Simon are great additions to the team, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge.
