Trelleborg Sealing Solutions recently celebrated the grand opening of its flagship 50,000ft
2 ServicePlus centre in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin (USA).
Using this location as a ‘launch pad’, the business plans to expand its ServicePlus centre model globally, with the next one due to open in Portland, Oregon, in early 2020.
At nearly double the size of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions’ previous site in New Berlin, Wisconsin, the new location enables the company to expand its support capabilities for existing and new ServicePlus customers within a 200-mile radius; the new centre undertakes light manufacturing and complex assembly work, as well as kitting, quality testing, dock-to-stock deliveries and vendor-managed inventory.
Will Bacon, ServicePlus segment manager, said: “Trelleborg acquired the previous site in September 2016.
“Since then, we have steadily expanded the business to include advanced delivery and other value-added services, and we out-grew the original space.”
