Formaplex invests in 5-axis machines

Hampshire-based Formaplex
(www.formaplex.com), which supplies patterns and tools to customers in the motor-sport, automotive, defence and aerospace industries, has expanded its composites capacity by acquiring two new CMS Aries 4826 five-axis machines and taking on four new members of staff.
Composites director Jon Payne says: “Investment in these five-axis machines is an important step in maintaining our high level of client service.
