Barcelona-based BCN3D has announced an agreement that will see 3Dörtgen distribute its Sigma and Sigmax 3-D printers — plus the full range of filaments, accessories and spare parts — in the Turkish market.
3Dörtgen (
www.3dortgen.com) started to operate in the 3-D printing industry in 2013 in Istanbul and was one of the first ‘3-D shops’ in the region; it has now built up a successful business that includes a marketing team, a technical services department and a warehouse.
It also has a 3-D Printing Cafe— the first in Turkey — where 3-D printers are free to use and people can print their own projects.
Xavier Martínez Faneca, CEO of BCN3D (
www.bcn3d.com), said: “This alliance will help usto increase our sales in the Turkish market, where there is a high potential for the IDEX system (independent dual extruders) and the distinctive duplication, mirror and multi-material printing modes.
"3Dörtgen’s considerable experience in additive manufacturing, combined with a top-quality technical know-how, makes it the right fit to help us grow and serve Turkish customers.”
