Micro Finish Grinding (UK) Ltd) has added to its wide portfolio of abrasive machines with its recent appointment as Sole UK & Ireland agent for the sales and service of the Damec Srl range of bore honing machines and abrasive tooling from Italy.
Manufactured in Nerviano, Lombardy, which is North West of Milan and about 30min from Milan Malpensa Airport, the range includes the DDH tube honing machine for 25-450/1,000mm bores x 2-10m in length.
The DCB530 Vertical Honing machine for 20–300mm bores x 500/520mm deep, and the DHM range of Horizontal Honing machines for manual, semi automatic and fully automatic operations on workparts from 2.5-100mm bore sizes.
The product range also offers the DVSS vertical single-pass machines with either four or six stations for high production application on workparts between 4-50mm bore size, supplied together with in-house one-pass diamond tooling from 60-1,200 grit size, covering all application requirements.
To complete the machine types available, the DCE vertical bore honing machine for engine block cylinder bores can be used for OEM and also in the engine rebuilding industry.
Honing stones and mandrels for all the Damec range of machines are available from stock, and also these tooling items can be quoted for other makes of honing machines.
