Rugby-based TDT Machine Tools
, a leading UK supplier of quality CNC machines, has boosted its sales team with the appointment of Mark Hone, who has around 15 years’ experience in the machine-tool sector. He has been recruited primarily to spearhead the sales of high-quality CMZ lathes and turning centres across the central England region. TDT was appointed a UK sales partner for Spain-headquartered CMZ in January 2020.
Mr Hone arrives at TDT following periods at a number of established competitors. His track record of concluding sales is highly regarded, which the company says makes him the ideal candidate to further strengthen the market position of both TDT and CMZ.
His central England sales area for CMZ is extensive, running coast-to-coast from Lincolnshire in the east, to Wales in the west, taking in the East and West Midlands, including Hereford and Worcester, and extending as far north as Sheffield and Doncaster.
Mr Hone said: “It was the CMZ range that particularly attracted me to TDT. Machines of that quality and reliability – at that price range – really stand out. I came across CMZ many times in my previous roles and only heard great things about the quality of the machines.
