Trumpf to hold ‘Robot Welding Made Easy’ webinar

Fabrication companies looking to incorporate robot welding into their workshops but are hampered by time-consuming programming and skills shortages are recommended to attend the next Luton-based Trumpf Ltd webinar taking place next Wednesday, 30 June from 10-10.30am (BST). Collaborative robots (cobots) could provide the answer, even for small batch quantities and short seams.

This 30min event will introduce delegates to the first Trumpf automated arc welding system, the TruArc Weld 1000, which comes complete with cobot. After the operator has manually guided the cobot over the component to teach it the co-ordinates, the system automatically carries out the weld with far greater efficiency than is possible manually. It is described as ‘simple, quick and highly cost effective’.
