Advanced industry will meet from 26 to 28 October at
+Industry, the first event of its type in Spain this year. Being held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, it will run concurrently with a number of other trade shows —
Pumps & Valves, Subcontratación, Addit3D, Industry Tools by Ferroforma, BeDigital, Maintenance and Fitmaq.
Leading companies in manufacturing processes, equipment for industrial processes, and products for asset and facility maintenance, as well as the latest technology, digitalisation and additive manufacturing, have already confirmed their participation in the event.
The organisers say the event will be a “unique opportunity to foster cross-sectoral synergies, share knowledge, showcase new solutions live, and close deals. Representatives of major companies have already registered to visit the fair.
They include Airbus, Mercedes Benz y Campofrío, Acciona Agua, Dow Chemical, Farmhispania, Arcelor Mittal, Nestlé España, Solvay Química, Gestamp, Volkswagen, Aernnova, Grupo Aciturri and ITP Aero.
The event combines an exhibition area with live demonstrations, ‘innovation workshops’ and the chance to take part in various networking opportunities — including pre-arranged B2B meetings.
Visitors and exhibitors will also have to chance to attend a wide range of talks addressing manufacturing’s major challenges, latest features and trends, with representatives of leading companies sharing their knowledge and experience from success stories in industry 4.0.
