Lesjöfors is launching a new company, Lesjöfors Heavy Springs UK, rebranding its two former European Springs and Pressings factories in Cornwall.
They are now part of a new division, focusing on growth and significant investment in the heavy springs sector across the industries served by the Lesjöfors heavy coiling sites in the UK, Finland and Sweden. The company manufactures springs the group manufactures for customers in the automotive, rail, agriculture, oil, mining, construction and energy sectors around the world.
The UK factories has achieved a record-breaking order book over the last year — sales are up 35%, the workforce by 40% and a new annual turnover record at £15 million. In 2022, Lejöfors Heavy Springs will invest £1 million in new machinery at the factories.

The company is a world leader in heavy spring manufacture, specialising in large diameter compression, torsion and tension springs, producing coiling wire from 3 to 65mm diameter.
Meanwhile, European Springs and Pressings will continue its manufacturing operations in Beckenham, Kent.
