Given the growing trend to automate inspection processes,
Mitutoyo (UK) Ltd will be exhibiting a MiSTAR CNC CMM and a QVE Vision System — served by a Fanuc collaborative robot (cobot), at
MACH 2022 (Hall 19, Stand 530). The event is taking place from 4-8 April, at the NEC, Birmingham.
The highly efficient cells will illustrate the operator-free and light-out working potential of these cost-effective systems.
Making a
MACH debut will be Mitutoyo’s new CRYSTA-Apex V-series CNC CMMs. Building on the popularity of previous models, these CMMs deliver ‘high-accuracy results at pace’.
Mitutoyo will also be highlighting three new vision measuring instruments. The Roundtracer FLASH is a ‘state of the art’ optical measuring device that delivers results twice as fast as traditional linear scanning solutions and can accurately measure parts up to 300mm long.
The Quick Vision Active compact measuring system delivers highly accurate, rapid, non-contact 3-D measurements at an affordable price.
Completing the line-up, the Quick Scope manual vision measuring instrument is an easy-to-use device can be operated by both inspection professionals and semi-skilled personnel to perform manual workpiece observation or automatic measurement of single or multiple parts.
Meanwhile, demonstrations of the new Mitutoyo Formtracer Avant will illustrate the hybrid instrument’s ability to deliver both contour and surface roughness measurements in a single, easy-to-use unit.
A wide range of Mitutoyo height gauges and small tools with Bluetooth connectivity will also be shown.
