ANCA UK, the CNC grinding machine manufacturer and precision tool specialist that is headquartered in Australia, will be showcasing its innovations in tool grinding, cylindrical grinding, and ‘full circle automation’ for precision tool production at
MACH 2022 (Hall 20, Stand 132). The event is taking place from 4-8 April at the NEC, Birmingham.
ANCA UK, established 35 years ago, has a large installed base of CNC grinding machines for precision tools and other high-accuracy parts. The company has partnered with UK manufacturers, bringing them developments in tool and cutter grinding such as five-axis machines and CAM for tool grinding as early as the 1990s, robot automation, single set-up machining and various software innovations.
Adrian Wright, ANCA’s regional sales manager, said: “We are the only manufacturer in our field that not only develops and builds machines in-house but also the CNC, drives and software — even machine canopies. We will soon be installing two demonstration machines with the latest innovations at our newly upgraded Coventry showroom.
“At the show we will be demonstrating a CPX blank preparation machine, which extends our process scope with a ‘pinch-peel process’, standard features for high-precision and quality, as well as easy configuration for unmanned production.
MX7 Linear tool grinder“Meanwhile, the MX7 Linear tool grinder is the choice for demanding tool grinding on a production basis. The machine will show our high-level automation designed to give customers flexible batch manufacturing for all lot sizes.”
Further new possibilities in the fields of PCD tools, gear making, and automated production lines will also be presented. In addition to the machines on display, ANCA will also introduce: a new spark generator on the EDG-series hybrid machines for grinding and erosion; the GCX platform for hobs and skiving tools with design software and integrated measuring; and the autonomous manufacturing solution AIMS (ANCA integrated manufacturing system), which is a modular set of hardware and software products and components that allow for the integration of the entire process chain and production process.
Neil Kendrick, the UK operations manager, said: “Having served the regional market for decades, we have years of customer insights and experiences that positions us as a trusted and expert future partner. Our newly configured showroom will be the place to come to for any tool manufacturers looking to develop their technology and capabilities. We have also enhanced our after-sales product portfolio, giving manufacturers the opportunity to boost their productivity.”
