FEIN UK Ltd, a manufacturer of power tools and accessories, will be showcasing its brand-new KBE 32 ‘metal core drill’, new additions to its beveller range, and its MKAS 355 ‘metal chop saw’ at
MACH 2022 (Hall 6, Stand 572). The event is taking place from 4-8 April at the NEC, Birmingham.
The company will also be displaying several other tools from its wide range of products for metal workers including, multiple standard frequency grinders, its CCG cordless angle grinder range and several tools from its Accutec precision cordless screwdriver range.
Andy Mills, FEIN UK’s managing director, said: “At FEIN, we pride ourselves on our application-based approach and providing trusted consultancy to our customers, which ultimately enables them to source the best solution for the job.
“Research we conducted last year revealed many metal workers are using tools that aren’t fit-for-purpose, which is having a detrimental impact on health and safety, efficiency and productivity.
“For this reason, our ethos centres on matching people with the right tools for the right applications and we are excited to share more details on exactly how we do this at
MACH 2022, while showcasing our commitment to innovation with the various new tools we will be exhibiting.”
Reliable drilling up to 32mmWith a high-power motor for reliable drilling up to 32mm, FEIN’s new KBE 32 metal core drill combines a weight of 10.8kg with 1,200W, offering a ‘groundbreaking power-to-weight ratio with high magnetic holding force’.
Meanwhile, FEIN’s beveller range integrates the company’s technology with tried and tested milling heads, to provide a high level of precision, as well as enhanced health and safety at work; these tools produce swarf as a waste product, which falls to the ground — unlike the dust produced by angle grinders, which can circulate in the air.
Moreover, new ‘booster technology’ used in FEIN’s KFH 17-15 beveller also delivers 30-80% more cutting capability with significantly reduced vibration.
The new MKAS 355 metal chop saw uses a cold cutting process, which means there is no metal dust extract, thereby optimising operator safety. The saw also features an 1,800W motor with soft-start technology.
Mr Mills concluded: “From those operating in automotive, general fabrication or machinery manufacturing, to those in offshore/shipbuilding, rail, steel production or sheet metal industries, our vast portfolio covers a wide range of tasks and several different performance classes.”
