TotalEnergies UK to showcase next-generation productsTotalEnergies Marketing UK will showcase a range of innovative products at MACH 2022 (Hall 20, Stand 336), including FOLIA, a ‘revolutionary’ range of water-based metalworking fluids for the metalworking industry, which offers ‘much better results than a conventional lubricant’. Diluted with water or used neat, FOLIA fluids cool and lubricate a wide selection of machining operations and are suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Since being presented to the market in 2019, the FOLIA range has been continuously developed in line with customer feedback and requirements. The expanded range includes FOLIA W 7000, designed specifically for carbide tool grinding; FOLIA Y 7000 for yellow metals machining and Folia A 7000 for severe machining operations of aluminium and steel, which will all make their UK show debut at MACH 2022.

FOLIA fluids have been developed to increase component lifespans and machining speeds while improving the performance of metalworking operations. Reliable, clean, and meeting the highest health and environmental standards, FOLIA enables manufacturers to improve workplace safety while delivering productivity gains.

Songul Facey, technical sales manager (metalworking) at TotalEnergies, said: “We launched our new brand, in line with our transformation towards becoming a broad energy company focused on a sustainable future and supporting the energy transition.

“At the same time, we have also been innovating our range of products and services to continue to meet the needs of our customers as they adapt and evolve themselves. It is an exciting time, and we are looking forward to sharing our new solutions with customers and working together to advance the industry.”
