Following the recent announcement that the Wellesbourne-based
Engineering Technology Group (ETG) has been appointed as the exclusive UK and Ireland distribution partner for Swiss company DNE Global, the company has added high-quality cost-effective fibre laser cutting to its wide portfolio of manufacturing machinery.
To underpin the growth of this new brand, ETG has now employed Shane Langston as product manager to drive this new division into the marketplace — he is an engineer with over 20 years of working in the sheet metal industry sector.
Mr Langston started his career as an apprentice at Amada UK, spending considerable time in various departments and roles within the business, gaining an intimate knowledge of every facet of the sheet metal industry. After seven years as a service engineer, he moved to a UK sales and marketing manager’s role with LVD and more recently gaining further experience as a software solutions manager for a leading sheet metal software brand.
ETG managing director Martin Doyle said: “We have wanted to enter the highly competitive laser cutting market segment for some time as we could see huge potential. We now have the right technology partner and as a result can demonstrate uncompromising quality at a price point that will set us apart from the competition.
