TIMTOS 2023 to highlight future technologies for smart manufacturing

TIMTOS 2023 to highlight future technologies for smart manufacturingTIMTOS 2023 (the Taipei International Machine Tool Show), is scheduled to return in 2023 from 6-11 March in the Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 and 2 and TWTC Hall 1. According to the organiser TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council), all exhibition spaces are sold out and the stand allocation will be finalised by the end of this month.

The show will consist of more than 6,000 exhibitors who between them will showcase the full spectrum of metal cutting machines, controllers, key components, smart manufacturing solutions and more. Next year’s show will also feature three new themed areas — Advanced Metalworking Technology, Additive Manufacturing and Future Manufacturing.

Big names lined up for TIMTOS 2023 include CHMER, Fair Friend Group, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Hiwin, Kafo, Mazak, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Takisawa, Trumpf, TTGroup, Victor Taichung, YCM, and YOU JI. In addition, Switzerland, Germany, the USA and Denmark will have national pavilions at the exhibition and the latest models and smart manufacturing technologies will be found in every aisle of the show.

The new themed areas are designed to add to the attractiveness of TIMTOS 2023, TAITRA said: “The Additive Manufacturing area will gather all the latest metal lamination manufacturing technologies, while the Advanced Metalworking Technology area will feature precision metal processing required in the manufacture of electric vehicles, aerospace and low-orbit satellites. The Future Manufacturing area will put the visitors on the frontier of such new technologies and tools as 5G, artificial intelligence, digital twins, edge computing, industrial metaverse and collaborative robots.
